Community Giving

As part of our mission, Fresno Filmworks believes that cinema can play an essential role in learning and understanding within our multicultural community. To connect with the many underserved audiences in the Central Valley – especially youth – we created a community outreach program in 2014. The program offers complimentary tickets for up to 200 participants to join us at the historic Tower Theatre for a night of movies and discussion.

Groups we have served include:
Armenian Studies Program – Fresno State
Big Brothers Big Sisters Central California
Central High School – French Corps
CineCulture – Fresno State
Community Center for the Arts & Technology
Fresno Boys and Men of Color
Fresno City College – Asian American Studies Program
