Fresno Film Festival Passes Now Available!
Sent to mailinglist subscribers on April 3, 2014
Filmworks invites you to the 2014 Fresno Film Festival on April 25-27, our 10th annual celebration of independent and international cinema. Over three days, you can catch seven exclusive programs of award-winning shorts and feature-length films. The festival also includes intimate conversations with visiting filmmakers and discussions you won’t find anywhere else in the Central Valley.
We will kick off the festival with the opening night film “Like Father, Like Son,” by Japanese master director Hirokazu Kore-eda. This family drama delicately explores the ever-prominent question of nature vs. nurture and presents a tale that the Los Angeles Times calls “both meaningful and deeply moving.”
A toast to 10 Years . . . and Counting
After the opening night film, join us for a champagne reception at the theater. Raise a glass to visiting filmmakers and celebrate with fellow movie lovers, as we toast to a decade of independent film at the historic Tower Theatre. (The Opening Night Reception is open to those with a festival pass or with admission to the opening night film.)
