Fresno Filmworks presents “Support the Girls”, a comedy written and directed by Andrew Bujalski. When the motherly and protective Lisa (Regina Hall) becomes the manager of a highway-side “sports bar with curves” she’ll do anything to protect her young female employees. Despite imposing a strong zero-tolerance policy against disrespectful customers and growing to love the restaurant, her optimism and faith in herself become tested when she encounters her toughest day on the job yet.
