Nené was involved with Arte Américas for 26 years, and she served as president of its board three times. She currently serves as board president of the Central California Women’s Conference. For Filmworks, Nené assists the venue director.

Every second Friday of the month, Fresno Filmworks screens first-run independent and international movies at the historic Tower Theatre.
